I’m very glad I chose James!

We recently needed a tiler for a room renovation in our house. Looking at various tiler options from their websites etc, I was keen to engage James as the feedback on his website was very positive.

Everything that others had enthused about James, we experienced. First and foremost, he’s a great tiler. He did a really high quality job. But on top of that, importantly he was excellent to deal with. He’s a great communicator, he’s friendly, very reliable and he helped by adding value with suggestions etc. His willingness to adapt his diary to meet with other tradies’ timelines was excellent and very much appreciated.

I don’t normally do the feedback thing, because I feel it should be reserved for someone that is no risk and a cut above. I have no hesitation in highly recommending James to anyone looking for a quality tiler who’s simply excellent to deal with.

Attention to detail

James has completed a number of tiling projects in my home over the last couple of years including the laundry and toilet, and more recently the kitchen splashback. He has shown great professionalism in his work with meticulous attention to detail. The results are fabulous. I would thoroughly recommend James without hesitation.

I previously had some concrete laid and it was not a good job, so James came in and added some tiles on top and fixed up the area and it now looks a million bucks. Couldn’t be any happier.

James tiled our main bathroom last year after being recommended to us by someone who’s opinion we respect. “My son’s getting his new home built and I’m organising it because I’ve had lots of experience. We’d chosen some polished porcelain tiles for the bathroom which I know are not easy to work with so I was dreading getting some dodgy tiler. For that reason we decided to only go up to the minimum height in the bathroom.

James started tiling and we thought WOW! this guy’s good. So we decided to go higher with the tiles. Because James was so good at what he was doing, we then decided to get him to tile the whole living area — which we never would have done otherwise.

Now I’m getting him to do tiling at my house. We’ve got a courtyard that’s had some waterproofing issues so we’re ripping up the old tiles and getting James in to do the waterproofing and the new tiling. We just lucked in getting James as our tiler.”

He was there when he said he would be, explained exactly what he was going to do and why, took the time to help me by suggesting different grouting colour options and he did a great job.
